Rest in peace Lolo:(

Last week, a wonderful person passed away. We will miss you always Lolo. You were like a grandfather to me and you will ALWAYS be in my heart! I love you Lolo.
Bless the Bondoc family as they go through this loss.

Ketchum is a winter wonderland

Before yoga the other day, I drove out Elkhorn and took this picture of the sun rising on Bald Mountain.
Then after yoga, I took this pic from downtown Ketchum. Winters are long and hard here in Idaho, but it is just beautiful and I feel blessed to live here! I wish you all could see it!

It's so beautiful here!

This is the view from the YMCA yoga studio. The sawtooth Mountains covered in white. Beautiful

He's turning into a little man

Our house in January

In case you were curious... here's what our house looks like now. Lots of snow, and more to come!

Here comes Sammy!

Cheeeeeze!

Ahhhh! Help Me!

Help! He is climbing on EVERYTHING... and FALLING too! I swear I'm going grey. He started really walking around the middle of January, and look out... here comes Sam!
He sure keeps Mama on her toes!

Live's Beautful Baby Contest... he's the winner in my book!

I used to watch Live with Regis nd Kelly every morning while I was nursing. Now, I'm pretty sick of them and the show; frankly they drive me nuts, but I still just HAD TO enter Sammy in their Beautiful Baby Contest. I'm sure they have receievd tens of millions of entries, but hey, who knows... he could win a big old scholorship from Gerber.
It took me forever to pick a picture of Sam, but in te end, I narrowed it down to these two. They are both so cute, but I picked the 2nd picture. Keep your fingers crossed... you never know, right;)

Happy 1st Birthday Sammy!

On January 5th 2010, our beautiful baby boy Sam turned one year old. Man! How does time fly! I can't believe he's already a year old. He is really transitioning from baby to toddler too.
Sammy loves to say "Dada" and "Nummies" (our word for food- "yummy"), and "bananna". He just loves it when we chase him around and tickle him, and HE in turn, loves to chase our kitty around the house! He points at his eyes and says, "eyes". Such a smart little monkey. It's just amazing having a son! What a blessing.
On the night of Sam's birthday Daddy brought a balloon home for Sammy and he sat on the kitchen floor and played while I got dinner ready.

Enchaladas

I made enchaladas for the special occation:) I love cooking for the fam!

Let's eat cake!

We had a nice family dinner together and then I set up the tripod so we could take these picture of all of us. I got Sammy his very own birthday cake, and it was a blast to let him just dig in.... no restrictions! He loved it, until...

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to!

...the sugar and excitement was all just a little too much for our little birthday boy.
...but in the end, I think Sammy had a good birthday. Happy Birthday Sammy. We love you so much!

Mommy and Daddy's favorite Christmas gift!

Ho Ho Ho

We spent Christmas at home this year with our little Christmas tree and our wood stove, which we couldn't have been more grateful for. The power went out all over the valley on Christmas Eve, and didn't get repaired until around noon on Christmas morning. It was okay though. We still made our turkey and just loved watching Sammy open all his new toys!

Sammy's new ride!

Sammy got a lot of great stuff for Christmas, but his absolute favorite new toy was (and still is) his Mickey Mouse car from Gigi and Pop. His mouth literally dropped when he opned it. It was the cutest thing ever! He actually understood that it was HIS NEW TOY!!!
I know most of ya'll have seen this picture ( I sent it out at Christmas), but I just love it! Such a cutie!

Sammy eating

Sammy sure does like his Nummies... and he's such a happy boy!

Sammy with Santa

We went to Twin Falls on Sunday and Sammy sat on Santa's lap. I think he really liked him. It was so precious!

Happy St. Nicolas

Gigi sent us a St. Nicolas present. It's so cool that she does that. It's a present BEFORE Christmas. Genius!
I was so touched when I opened the box because she included some of my childhood ornaments. I was just telling Debbie how I wish I had some of those memories. I was SO HAPPY to get them and then she also included a new baby ornament for Sammy:) :) :)
Also, Sammy got some new duds. He got nice new jeans, and kakis and "Hurley" shirts. My favorite is this "Quicksilver" sweater. It's completely lined with fluff and it's so warm! Sammy looks so stylin'! He wore some his new clothes to see Santa the next day... wait 'till you see this picture....

flowers

Brandon got me flowers to welcome me home from California:) So sweet! I was so impressed! I guess he really did miss us!

My girls!

I know this picture was a little forced, but I just wanted a picture with the girls so bad. These are Debbie & Bernie's beautiful three girls: (from the left) Karissa, Alexis, and Kayla with baby Sammy.

Me and Debbie in 2004

I just got back from visiting my friend in California. It was so good to see her and her family. I love them so much... they are like my own family. Debs and I weren't really in the mood to take any pictures on this trip.... (too busy shopping...JK).... so I dug up this picture of the two of us from 2004! We were having "dinner" at a Dennie's after a night on the town.
This is my best friend ever! I loved seeing her and Sammy loved meeting his auntie Dabbie.
I love you Debbie!

Happy Halloween 2009

Happy Halloween 2009! Sammy is 10 months old now, and cuter than ever!
We got up early and carved pumpkins and made cupcakes. It's fun to make memories in our new kitchen... in our new house:)

Here is our new house in Hailey. We are finally all together as a family... and getting settled too. Yeah!

Wednesday, November 25, 2009

In the evening, Bubby and I got all dressed up in our costumes and strolled downtown to "Hailey's Halloween Hoopla." Sammy was the cutest little monkey ever, and I went as a witch. Downtown, we showed off our costumes, ran into friends, and collected candy from all the local businesses. It was fun! Toward the end I gave Bubby a few m&m's to keep him awake (hehe)... he passed out when we got home... just in time for trick-or-treaters!

our jack-o-lantern... spooky!

Halloween Hoopla!

How cute! We ran into Tony & Kristi with there little son Lenox, the pirate...
....We also ran into our friend Lynney.
